Wear Red For Heart Health
This Friday, February 3rd is National Wear Red Day® for women. Raising awareness to educate against heart disease and stroke. According to the AHA, heart disease and stroke cause 1 in 3 deaths among women each year, killing approximately one woman every 80 seconds. Fortunately, we have the power to change that because 80 percent of cardiac and stroke events may be prevented with education and action.
We are asking all donors to wear red while donating blood, to help us support this effort. CJBC is extending the recognition days through Monday, February 6th 2017. You will receive a heart-shaped CJBC Stress Ball for wearing red while donating. You can carry it with you to alleviate stress as needed, and also, you will now have your very own stress ball to bring to CJBC when donating.
Take a selfie with your new stress ball and post to any of our social media channels using the hashtag #stressfreeatCJBC and receive 200 bonus points for use in the online store!
While saving the lives of those patients in need, you are also maintaining your good health through blood donation. Schedule your next appointment today by calling 888-718-5663 or clicking the “Donate Now” button below.
