The annual Jimmie Girard local blood drive was hosted by New Jersey Blood Center the Central Jersey Blood Center. This local blood drive had a great turnout and 64 blood donors were eligible to donate blood at this year's drive. Thank you to everyone who came out to support the local blood drive.  Read more.

Lakewood Blueclaws and Central Jersey Blood Center team up once again! Our very own Ryan Ragan, "The Roof Man", returns to the roof of FirstEnergy Park for the third straight year on August 15th to promote the blood drive that will be held on August 20th. Washington Redskins strong safety LaRon Landry is receiving platelet rich plasma (PRP) treatments to heal micro-tears in his Achilles’ tendon. Mr. Landry was placed on the injured reserve (IR) list on Dec.13, cutting short a season in which he was on pace for a career year with 85 tackles, an interception, a sack, and a forced fumble. Read more.
